I had a very satisfying weekend, you?
I cut stacks of squares for Sophia's quilt. I am so excited to offically get started on it.
My pom pom collection is slowly (but surely) growing. I am FAR from the 40 plus recommended for the project I'm absorbed in. I think these are looking so sweet. They remind of little scoops of icecream. I swiped the brilliant idea from Bleubird Vintage.
I just want to make dozens of them for the house.
I must admit I swiped another idea today but this one was from Dottie Angel. I picked up this less than darling deer for 50 cents a few weeks ago.
Post pink spray paint, he's looking a little more lively and ready for a glittery forest filled with Shiny Brite bulbs.
A few more highlights from the beautiful weekend...
Sophia's rugged hiking outfit she put together for her Daisy Scouts outing. It made me smile.
We enjoyed a backyard circus/ dance performance.
I got some great pics of a few little Doris Day nightgowns that will be going into my shop.
The nighties are so fluttery and feminine. This one is my favorite.
I will be adding some more Christmas stockings to Nellie Loves Vintage tomorrow.
I really loved this one but it will be boxed up and shipped out tomorrow. Are you as excited about decorating for the Holidays as I am?

I love Ollie's crown!
& I'd seen that deer on dottie - it's so sweet it doesn't even flinch when it gets paint in its eyes.
Now I'm inspired to paint Marge's mirror - thx!
