My last trip to the thrift store was very satisfying.
This little wooden house was made in Switzerland and used to be a working music box. The top floor lifts on a hinge. Adorable.
The little plastic tabletop tree was a thrilling find. Its box is in lovely condition and the majority of the pieces and ornaments were still together. I certainly couldn't pass up this large sized milkglass compote and beautiful tin, and the embroidered Santa and Mrs. were a steal. Pretty nice haul.
Bouncing on to another pic, I dangled the overflow of Shiny Brites from the dining room lampshade. I used pretty hooks and I love how it turned out. I wish I could leave it up all year.
Well, that's all for this evening. Tomorrow I'm thinking of adding a little spice to our mid-week post.
