1. I have never had sushi. I feel very intimidated and wouldn't even know what to order.
2. Ollie won't let me call him "sweetie" anymore because he's a man.
3. I know I have a vegetarian lurking inside of me but I just can't help my love of hamburgers.
4. I hate thong underwear. Yuck. Seriously not comfortable. I love all these new, old-style knickers and bloomers.
5. I am writing this at my dining room table. The sun is finally shining. The kids are very happily playing outside. I am celebrating with a glass of wine and fully intend to refill. It is only 4:15. Is that bad?
See you tomorrow. I have some crafty stuff up my sleeve.
amy

don't be intimidated by sushi restaurants... just start with something simple like a spicy tuna and crab roll and then move on to the more crazy stuff!
4:15 sounds like the perfect time to relax with a bottle of wine! i wish i had a bottle to open and it's not even 4pm! but i'll just have to settle for my cup of joe.
as always, i love your posts amy.
have a lovely evening.

Ok so I just read your blog about painting your room. I have a great color in my house called "vintage map" by martha stewart. It is light happy blue. Take a look at it whenever you get a min. Also univeral khaki by sherwin williams is a great neutral and it is the beige-green you were talking about.

just found your blog - love it! life's too short to not try everything and anything, especially sushi!!!
california rolls are pretty simple. i say, pick the rolls with the fewest ingredients and just try a bunch. also, try sashimi (not in a roll - just fish over rice).
