My favorite Valentine's tradition, by far, is visiting the most wonderful chocolate shop in Kansas City and filling our tiny boxes with beautiful chocolates. For the most part, I can easily resist sweets...I'm a salty. But when it comes to truffles, my mouth instantly begins to water. My favorites are always dark, and dusted with cocoa.

oh yes. a loud and demanding one, too. i frequent our local See's Candy for scotch kisses and rum nougat. it kinda defeats the purpose of going to the gym (in the same building), but oh well.

I love truffles. I can't have them around or I will make myself sick...Hey wait..isn't Valentines Day coming up? Shouln't I make some for my deserving husband? Yes, off I go to the shops.
