It's time for a giveaway and this one is a beauty! It would make a perfect gift for your darling on Valentine's Day.
A vintage Valentine from 1937, a beautifully flowered hankie, and a sweet little deer are all included for you to gift to your dear.
All you have to do to be eligible for this little bundle of sweetness, is to leave a comment...what's your favorite romantic movie? Hurry! Your comments must be in by Sunday evening. I'll let you know who the lucky Valentine is on Monday.
Here are a few more of my favorite vintage Valentine's greetings. Aren't they adorable. I love how everyone is called "darling".
These pink darlings will be on the Nellie shelves tonight!
As usual, I'll be back later with five.
XOXOXOXOXOXO

my boyfriend is the romantic movie goer in this relationship. scripted romance makes me gag. but i went along to see "love actually" and it's been a favorite ever since. (plus it doubles as a holiday fav!)

On Golden Pond.......I just love this movie. It shows us how beautiful and precious love is after years of being with someone.

Fave romantic movie-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I love how neurotic and not-perfect the characters are. "meet me in Montauk" is such a memorable phrase.

By far, Pretty Woman is my favorite one. One of my old boyfriends looked like a young Richard Gere, and so every time I watch that movie, I'm reminded of him and that wonderful time in my life.

Another oldie but goodie, is ghost.. isn't Whoopie Goldberg so romantic? haha jk. i really love that movie <3 and the notebook of course. I also love UP...its not romantic but the first 10 minutes of the movie are the best, although it's a little sad it makes you want to hug and kiss your SO.

I love The Notebook. I sob every single time I watch it. It's the true definition of love. Overcoming all the odds and making it in the end. So beautiful.

that's an easy one for me! 50 first dates! this movie has the perfect balance of humor and romance. and while adam sandler may not be total eye candy, his personality in this movie makes him just darling!

I have a few: 1) The Notebook 2) Funny Face and The Shop Around the Corner.
I must admit I am a sucker for Ryan Gosling and Cary Grant!
Posted by: Chrisitne | 02/05/2010 at 07:29 AM
My favorites would have to be just about any silly Cary Grant movie. And I just saw Away We Go, and it was so sweet and funny. I'd definitely recommend it!
